Mad Hatter High Tea {kitchen tea}

So the lovely Kira had her kitchen tea last Saturday - MAD HATTER STYLE. We were all asked to create a crazy/mad/simple/unique hat. And a prize will be given to the most creative.

Mad Hatter Brownie Pops

Some more Pops to share with you! My friend Kira had a "mad hatter" themed high tea for her kitchen tea. So in line with that... I made these! (the pops were supposed to be BLACK and red, but after a terrible malfunction in the melting process with the powdered food dye, the chocolate ended up tasting like burnt marshmellows .. in a reallly, really bad way. eek)

Pics of the High Tea to come next (featuring my "winning" mad hat, hehe)

High Tea's galore

High Tea's seem to be all the rage lately! This is an invitation for a friends kitchen tea I did up. Her mum had just been diagnosed with throat cancer, and has lost all her hair. So we thought it'd be nice to have a alice in wonderland-type "Mad Hatter High Tea" ... We all are going to make a crazy hat and wear it on the day! That way, her mum won't feel odd being the only one wearing a hat :)

Then just yesterday I was asked to do ANOTHER friends High Tea invitations....
They will look something like this (not sure which one she likes yet!)

I have a friends baby shower this saturday. Going to make some really cute brownie pops! If you look back in my posts you might remember seeing an invitation with an owl on it. Well... on the brownie pops I'm going to make, I'm going to attach a little owl pendant ... then guests can take it home and wear it as a necklace as a momento of the day!

another golden jordan moment...
